La moneta è un’invenzione umana. La moneta ci dimostra che l’essere umano è un animale sociale. La moneta è una relazione sociale. Una relazione sociale che oggi non è paritaria. La moneta è la dimostrazione dell’esistenza di una comunità, perché la moneta è frutto di un rapporto di fiducia. Ma la moneta è anche, soprattutto, potere. Potere di decisione, potere di arbitrio. E, da qualche secolo, potere capitalistico. In questo breve estratto dal suo ultimo libro Che cos’è il plusvalore?(Casagrande Ed., Bellinzona), con la consueta lucidità, Christian Marazzi ci parla del rapporto tra denaro e moneta, della sua essenza immateriale e simbolica, per ricordarci che in un contesto capitalistico, la moneta è comunque la rappresentazione fenomenologica del rapporto di sfruttamento capitale-lavoro, qualunque siano le forme che tale rapporto assume.
