Il cinema “critico-espressivo” e l’immagine surreale *
Il rapporto tra cinema e surrealismo richiederebbe una analisi strutturale dettagliata dei film che sono classificati sotto il titolo di cinema surrealista [1] . Esso comprende un arco di tempo breve che va dal 1927 al 1932, anno in cui è stato prodotto Las Hurdes di Buñuel e Pierre Unik e che chiude il periodo storico del surrealismo cinematografico. Tuttavia, mi sono limitato a riportare solo ciò che era indispensabile per capire quali elementi teorici uniscono il cinema alla “poetica surrealista”. Per un ulteriore approfondimento rinvio alla bibliografia dell’analisi strutturale di questi film che è sconfinata come lo è del resto quella sul surrealismo in generale.

Come prima approssimazione, potremmo dire che in ogni misticismo c’è l’esperienza della perdita, cioè un sentimento positivo della mancanza che porta al bisogno di superare tale condizione alienante, attraverso una illuminazione immediata.
Nonostante B. Russel sia un esponente del Positivismo logico, per il nostro discorso è emblematico il modo in cui egli mette a fuoco il rapporto tra atteggiamento mistico e logica.
